Computers and the Internet have become an important tool in our daily lives, helping us in our work, studies and communications with others. However, persons with certain disabilities cannot use computers the way it was made. As society continues to move forward with technology, these people will be left behind. It is our mission to change that. At Open the windows (OtW), we operate on the notion that new technologies should bridge existing gaps, not create new ones. We are working towards a world where technology enables everyone to fully use his/her abilities. We envision a world where opportunities exist for persons with disabilities – educationally and professionally – for more independence and inclusion into society.
